Son My husband and I have just come back from our 4th trip to Cozumel and our 4th stay at your hotel. We just want to thank the entire staff of the hotel for making our visit so enjoyable. Every year it becomes a little more like home, from the moment we arrive until the second we leave. I have never stayed anywhere that from the very first moment, the staff took the time to get to know us and made it very easy for us to get to know them. We especially want to thank Omar and Lorenzo (restaurant), Himi, Antonio, and Izzy (bar), Jamie, Pedro (guest services) and everyone else that we met. Everyone has taken the time to share a little of themselves and the native culture, not to mention all of the Spanish lessons that have become something that we look forward to every year when we go. The restaurant is one of the best we have eaten at and this year was no exception. In fact, with the addition of the daily specials, we were able to try dishes we might not have had. The hotel itself is a jewel of the island. The rooms are wonderfully clean and tidied up in a timely fashion. The walls and floors are kept spotless. The pool and beach are groomed everyday. We are so happy to come back to the Coral Princess every year that we joined the hotel club this year and have ensured that we will be back every year – pretty soon we will start brining our children with us so that they too can enjoy the wonderful amenities and the delightful staff. Thank you for making this one of the best weeks of the year for us.

William Collier, Texas, 8/13/07

From Jeannie and Bud from Texas We spent another two great weeks at the Coral Princess. We arrived on 28 Jul and departed on 11 Aug 07. The staff is excellent, the food is great, prices are reasonable, and the view is marvelous. This is the most honest and caring staff I have ever met. Pedro, Jamie and the other gentleman that I forgot his name are always great. This is like our second home. We have been staying at the Coral Princess since 1999 and plan many other visits. Pedro did something that you will very seldom see from many establishments. In our haste leaving for the airport, we left a bag. It was our fault, but Pedro showed up at the airport and delivered the bag just in time before we checked in for the flight. I have always really liked this young man for all the years we have had the privilege knowing him. This again proves what a great employee this fine young man really is!!!! If I was to recommend a place to stay in the world and could recommend a staff, Coral Princess would be the place and every employee would be on the list. P.S. Pedro expect something very nice the next time you see Jeannie and Bud at your front door.

We absolutely loved our stay! They hotel was beautiful. The people were the nicest we've ever met at any hotel! It's definitely the first vacation where we hugged the staff as we left! We all just fell in love with Cozumel. There have been alot of vacations that we've enjoyed. But, this was the best. We would LOVE to return. Tell Jaime and Pedro we said, "Hi!" Larry, Leigh, Dylan and Hannah stayed 6/27 - 7/3/07

Bob & Dovie Ramsey, Aurora CO, 6/13/07

This was our thrid time to stay at the Coral Princess. We absolutely love this hotel! We stayed here twice already in 2007 - once for ten days in January and again for eight days in May (celebrating our anniversary and again to celebrate Bob's Big 60 Birthday). The rooms here are wonderful with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff here are excellent, and make your stay so comfortable and special. We look forward to returning trip after trip to visit the staff and waiters, who make Cozumel feel like our home away from home. Starting our day with the great breakfast served at the restaurant, lounging in the beach area, followed by Happy Hour at the Palapa Bar makes every day a wonderful experience. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL when visiting beautiful Cozumel.

Allan & Gail, , 3/29/07

My husband and I have stayed at the Coral Princess 2X and we are hooked. We even bought a time share! We like the staff, the atmosphere, the view, the activities ( snorkelling and dive operation ), which by the way is well run. Carlos taught my husband how to scuba dive. He's great. You can get a one hour massage right on the oceanfront beach from Jesus which will probably be the best one you've ever had. And then there's Pedro. If you've read any of the posts on this site you will see his name come up time and time again. You're probably thinking "no one can be that good". Well, you're wrong. He is probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The place wouldn't be the same without him. Everyone at the CP are friendly. They'll make you feel right at home. You won't regret staying at this hotel. Can't wait until next year. Allan and Gail

Janice & Jim Wilson , Canada, 2/17/07

We have stayed at the Coral Princess for our third time & just love it! The property maintains its Mexican charm while offering many modern amenities which provide the comforts of home (i.e. Canada). The food in the restaurant is very good and the staff--here and elsewhere in the hotel--are always eager to please. The on-site snorkelling can't be beat! We are so happy to have discovered this small Mexican hideaway several years ago.

Eric & Wendy Vickaryous, Minesota, 1/23/07

My husband and I just returned home from a stay at the Coral Princess last week. It's all we can talk about! It was my first time in Mexico, and your hotel and the staff made it a wonderful experience!! We enjoyed starting our day with coffee and breakfast at your restaurant, and then hopping on our scooter to explore the island! Pedro was always there to answer questions and be sure we knew where we were going. Everyone that we met during our stay was extremely friendly! We are from Minnesota, and ran into many guests at your hotel from back home. Thank you for everything! We are already talking about our return next winter!! With thanks, Eric and Wendy Vickaryous

Michelle & Anthony Hill, , 12/06/06

I just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time while we were there. The staff was so helpful, it was great. We loved every minute of it. My sister got engaged and my husband and I got to be there - making memories with you guys was fabulous. The hotel was clean and crisp. The staff was kind and helpful. There was nothing that we needed that we didn't get. Thank you again. I attached some pictures from the trip. :-) Tell the boys we said hello! We’ll be back as soon as we can. ;-)

Margaret Ingraham, , 8/03/06

We have had a timeshare at the Coral Princess for many years and have enjoyed many visits. We have also given weeks to our choir director and his family, our granddaughter for her honeymoon, and a daughter just to "get away." Unfortunately, my husband has had a major illness for the last three years and we haven't been able to come down there. But when he recovers our first destination will be the Coral Princess! We are so glad to learn that you are recovering from the hurricane and look forward to seeing for ourselves all your updates. Arnold and Margaret Ingraham

Jennifer Gabbert , , 8/03/06

comments on recent stay: We stayed at the Coral Princess on our very first trip to Cozumel. We have only been gone 4 days and wish we could go back. Cozumel is in itself a beautiful place. You have many choices on where to stay during your time in Cozumel, but I promise none will compare to the beyond five star service we recieved here at the Coral Princess Hotel. The food we had from their restaurant was excellent and we ate almost every meal there. The kitchen staff was most excellent and I know because I run a restaurant for a living. The poolside bar and its staff were on the ball all of the time. Isidro the bar tender is the greatest. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning our rooms promptly and daily. Five days on the beach and not once did we have a gritty floor! Humberto, the concierge was top notch at his job. There was'nt anything that we asked for he could not accomidate. The Snorkling off the back of the Hotel was some of the best around. The hurricane last year really hit this place hard but they are working like crazy to bring it back up to par. The Hotel had a few quirks but none big enough to make me stay somewhere else next time. I am all ready planning a trip for next Summer and maybe even sooner. We can not wait to return to your Hotel and see all our old friends there. Best of luck you guys! Y, Gracias para bueno vacation!!! And you wont find a better Margarita or Tuesday night Fiesta!!! Jennifer Gabbert and Family Our stay was July 9, 2006-July 13, 2006

ROBIN LOYD, , 8/03/06

This July will be our 14th year going to Cozumel. It will be our 11 year at the Coral princess. We love the staff here. We just want to share our experiences with friends and family and we have been able to bring down friends and family in these last 6 years. Having the Coral Princess as our Time share has been great! We look forward to coming down from Chicago always. This year is the Girls from Chicago Trip. It should be great. To our friends, and family of the Coral Princess. May you have all the best in the world. From Timoteo and Robin

Pauline Jackson, Vancouver Canada, 5/29/06

Just want to say hi to all the staff and friends that I made during Wilma. I'm one of those wacky Canadians that Glenn & Lynn are talking about. Hope to see all of the Wilma Family at a reunion soon at the CP.

Jane Kepler, Oxford PA, 5/03/06

What a wonderful staff you have. Thank you Thank you Thank you from one of the "Purty Merican Woomen" from the week of Mar 11th!!!

Mary Kile, Phoenixville PA, 5/03/06

We found ourselves making reservations at the Coral Princess after the hotel we previously stayed at didn't make it through the hurricane. Actually at the time of our reservation, the Coral Princess was due to open in February. You see, there were 6 of us; all sisters who haven't vacationed together before. I have to tell you, it was the best vacation ever for everyone!! The people were so friendly and have a great sense of humor! We heard their stories of recovery and witnessed their diligence to get the area back in shape. Simply amazing people! We had such a blast due to the personnel being so very accommodating. My sisters and I love you folks! We'll see ya next year!!

Sam & Ne', Jackson Mississippi, 5/02/06

Hi to everyone at Coral Princess!!! We had a wonderful time Feb. 22-March 1. We had so much fun swimming & snorkeling in the ocean, going to the carnival and just visiting the island. Anyway, I've got some pictures to share with you, would you please email me your mailing address so I can send you the photos?!?! Thanks - Kris

Ron and Tamma Phillips, Oldsmar Florida, 3/24/06

We are soooo looking forward to our trip in May, we can hardly stand it. We own another time share and traded last year to go to the Coral Princess. and you know what happened then. We absolutely loved the place and bought a one bedroom suite, which we will be coming to in May. We truly miss everyone there and are gratefull that everyone made it through the storm ok. Say Hello to Phillipe and tell him that we will see him at the pool bar as soon as we get there.

Judy, Lancaster Pa, 3/19/06

I am breathless with the beauty of Cozumel!! My sisters (Mary, Chris, Janie, Sue and Nancy) just returned from sweet Cozumel and we had a fabulous time. Your staff helped us celebrate Janie's birthday and our holiday in sooo many ways! I admire the dedication and great work ethic demonstrated by your staff. Please let everyone know from the moment we were met with smiling faces; the consistant tone was gracious hospitality. EVERY person paid attention to every detail of service and cleanliness and I was impressed. Did I say how much I enjoyed the view!!!!!! Well I did!!!! The VIEW, the EVENTS, the FOOD, the FUN!!!....all because you make the effort, each and every day to be your best. I salute you all, for making the great sacrifices you have made, so we may enjoy time in your land. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!!

Terry and Tonna Corbin, Minneapolis Minnesota, 3/16/06

We returned to the Coral Princess on Feb. 4, 2006 - the first open week post-Wilma. Now that we are home, We want to take a few minutes to thank the entire Coral Princess staff for another great holiday. Our three weeks weren't nearly long enough. First and foremost let us express our gratitude for the amazing effort you have all put into restoring our beloved “home away from home”. Under the leadership of General Manager, Alberto Landero, the Coral Princess will indeed be better than ever. As we watched the horrible destruction heaped on Cozumel, we could not imagine that the island would rise from such a terrible blow by nature. But we have seen with our own eyes, not only is the island functioning, but it is beautiful again and getting better each and every day. All of this achieved through the hard work and dedication of the people of Cozumel. You are an inspiration to the world. Our congratulations to the Coral Princess on improvements made this year. The updated kitchens are wonderful. The refrigerators are great, as are the toaster ovens. The new curtains are much better than the old blinds. The new air conditioners are amazing – so quiet. Thank you. We are so pleased with all the upgrades you have managed to incorporate into the rebuilding process. And let me mention the things that we love year after year that keep us coming back and recommending the Coral Princess to our friends. The staff is wonderful; hard working, always smiling, just like family. Again our thanks to Pedro and Jimmy, Cesar and Marta, and all the front desk personnel for taking such good care of us. A special thanks to Angel in reservations for his hard work. Pepe’s Scuba continues to be a first rate dive operation. Many thanks to Frank for keeping everything running smoothly and to Maria, Raffy, Abdias and all the boys. Having a scuba shop on premise is a must and Pepe’s is the best on the island. Pepe’s boats are always clean, well maintained, and safe. The dive masters always think safety first. It is one of the best organized dive operators we have encountered anywhere. Pepe’s Dive Center is a real asset to the Coral Princess. Raul continues to do a wonderful job with the spa. It is great to see the growth of this operation. We look forward to the new spa facility. The waiters are great. They were especially hard working this year in the face of post-Wilma reconstruction of the restaurant facilities. Again, it is wonderful to see the same smiling faces year after year. We can't wait to see the new restaurant next year. Again, may we express our sincere gratitude for the extreme effort that the Coral Princess staff and management have put forth after Hurricane Wilma. We know that you have all suffered personal loss, however, you were willing to dedicate great effort to rebuilding for the guests. For this sacrifice – we thank you. See you next winter!

Glenn & Lynn Damon, Atlanta Georgia, 3/14/06

How wonderful to see the progress you have made with the hotel! We were there during Wilma and your staff did a tremendous job taking care of us and keeping us calm. Plus, we got to meet so many cool people like those wacky Canadians. Can't wait to see everyone again!!

I am one of the wacky Canadians who hunkered down with the 40 people during hurricane Wilma. As mentioned previously the staff were tremendous in helping us get through the storm. I want to wish a big contratulations to Alberto and the staff at CP on the re-opening of the hotel. I do hope that we can arrange for a reunion with the Hurricane Wilma Family. Many of us are still in touch and I would love very much to see everyone again. You are all in my prayers and hope that everyone is well. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Ron & Jean Fowler, Calgary, AB Canada, 12/12/05

Dear Friends, Just a note to let you know you are all very much in our thoughts and prayers. We were fortunate in that we got the last plane out of your beautiful island before Hurricane Wilma hit. We want to thank you for informing us of the danger and encouraging us to leave if possible. We are particularly grateful that you put your guests ahead of yourselves and, in a very stressful situation, you were both courteous and helpful. We were SO sorry to hear that, indeed, the hurricane was very bad and destructive. We can only imagine all the hard work you will be doing to restore the damage. We are thankful that you and your families are safe. We look forward to returning next year and wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a New Year rich in good health, happiness and NO hurricanes! Warmest regards, Ron and Jean Wishing you all do hope to return next year

Dan&MK, Hudson WI, 11/30/05

The best compliment you can give a hotel is to return. When speaking of the CP that is exactly what we do! ( again and again and again...) If you are considering using this hotel when you vist Cozumel, and have questions, please feel free to email us at mkpennings@yahoo.com. The service and people are amazing and we are so happy to be returning after the repairs for a 2 week stay. Home away from home!

Joyce D. Quinn, ENGLEHART ONTARIO. CANADA, 11/23/05

Dan and Wendy Flock, Plano TX, 8/30/05

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay here, and it couldn't have been better. We had a wonderful time, the staff was exceptional, and the facilities were superb. Keep up the great work!

britney, springfield missouri, 8/12/05

i was one of the student during hurricane emily. you guys made all of us feel safe. thank you we had a wonderful time. i would recommend your hotel in a heart beat.

Phil & Gail Valentine, Belton Texas, 8/11/05

Hey, if you have to endure a hurricane (Emily), I guess the Coral Princess is the best place to be. I just want to express my heartfelt admiration and appreciation for Manager Alberto and the entire staff. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the food provided. Even sleeping in the hall wasn't half bad, since the hotel was prepared with mats. All the kids from Missouri made it thru ok, too. We did get some snorkling in and enjoyed a day at Xel-Ha before the storm, so it wasn't a total loss, and what a story we had to tell our friends back home. My only regret is missing out on the hurricane survior's Margarita party!! Que Lastima! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for your vacation in Cozumel. Thanks, Phil & Gail

Heather & Mykle, Calgary Alberta, 8/05/05

We stayed at the Coral Princess 7/23 - 7/30 and couldn't have had a better time. Our wedding plans were cancelled due to the hurricane, and the wedding coordinator Luis was so flexible and helpful in planning a quick wedding at the resort. Our wedding was perfect, and we couldn't have been happier with the staff, cleanliness and beauty of the resort. Thank you again Luis for the amazing work with the wedding!!

Heather & Eric Edwards, Evans GA, 8/02/05

The staff at The Coral Princess was great!! We stayed throughout hurricane Emily and were very well informed the entire time. We were updated several times a day on Emily. The staff, even through all of that, were so polite and helpful and ALWAYS had a smile on their faces. We are trying to work with our schedules and return in a few months! We will definitely stay at The Coral Princess when we return (hopefully in Nov. or Dec.)!! Thank you all so much for making our stay so wonderful!! We honestly did not want to leave!

Trey Paradee, Dover Delaware, 7/30/05

We cannot wait until our return to the Coral Princess this winter. It will be our third stay in as many years. I only have one special request that will greatly improve the evenings at Coral Princess. You have got to hook my main man, Isidro, up with a new Karaoke machine! C'mon, it will only set you back a couple hundred US dollars and will make you guests very happy. Isisdro works so hard to make everyone happy and keep everyone entertained. Karaoke is a nightly ritual, but poor Isidro is working with ancient equipment! Trey Paradee

Kathy, Houston TX, 7/29/05

Thank you Coral Princess and staff for taking such good care of us throughout Emily. I very much appreciate how hard you all worked during the storm. You kept us safe, you feed us, you kept us informed. You really came through for us. We had an unplanned extra 3 days in Cozumel because we couldn't get out. After talking to people at the airport the day we left, I'm sure we stayed in the best hotel on the island to weather Emily. Thanks for everything!

Kay K., O'Fallon MO, 7/25/05

We are a bit nervous about coming, 07/29 - 08/02, due to Emily. This is our first trip to Cozumel and since Emily, we had to change our reservations. Our previous hotel suggested Coral Princess and from reading all the other messages in your guest book, looks like they suggested a good one! Can't wait to arrive and have wonderful time! (Sure hope we get an ocean view room w/a king bed!) See ya Friday! kk

Dave Siciliano, Dallas Texas, 7/20/05

We had a wonderful stay. As Emily approached, the manager and staff were very attentitive and informative. We left early, but really appreciated their briefings. Service was excellent; room was kept very clean; very nice facilities. With all the eating alternatives on the island, we usually dined elsewhere, but used a lot of hotel services.

Molly & Buddy C., Burleson Texas, 7/19/05

A really nice hotel. Our room was clean & a/c worked great! The staff are exceptional. They kept us well infrormed during Hurricane Emily. We'll be back!

Russ Ray, attica mi, 7/18/05

The Coral Princess is great place to stay. Great staff, snorkeling on site, good restaurant, close to town. A real gem.

James Bartley, Evans GA, 6/14/05

The Coral Princess is the finest hotel I have stayed at in Cozumel over the past ten years! They have a great staff and Pepe scuba is best dive operator I have dove with in Cozumel! Jim Bartley

JENNY, LINDSTROM MN, 3/07/05

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Pedro, Carlos and Isandro(?)!!! I had the time of my life at the Coral Princess. I have never been to Mexico. I've been to Hawaii and on a cruise, and this vacation was A+. The staff is excellent! The restaurant needs better service. Watch out for those "Dirty Monkeys", they sneak up you. I had the time of my life. Thanks Eileen for inviting me and sharing your timeshare with me. Thank you Coral Princess Staff and friends. Pedro I'll be back.

Tabitha Cooper, greensboro nc, 3/07/05

Thank you Coral Princess staff for a wonderful time. The minute we walked in the door we were welcomed with a smile. This is the perfect place to go to relax. Everyrone is so helpful and friendly, even at 2am. The maids accidently took one of my friend's towels and by the next morning they had it returned and laundered. We also needed to recieve a fax at the hotel and the person at the front desk not only got it for us but brought it to our room. The way that you can charge everything to the room and pay at the end made it so convenient. You really didn't even need to leave the hotel, but if you did, they had a taxi there for you in a matter of seconds. Americans could really learn something from their hospitality. Great job! We'll be back. Tabitha Cooper nc

Kathy, Albany New York, 2/04/05

This was the best vacation of my life! I'm a single mom with a teenage daughter on our first trip out of the USA. We were treated like royalty. We had folks to go to dinner with and share taxi rides into town. There was plenty to, everthing was immaculate, the food on site and in town was wonderful. (Don't miss Pancho's Backyard for fun, or Acuario for a fabulous setting and stunning presentations). The Coral Princess staff was gracious and Pedro has a world-class smile. :) I fall asleep dreaming of the sound of the ocean off my balcony. DON'T PASS THIS BY!

Inez, Waukon Ia , 1/31/05

Just a short note to Pedro and all that are there at Coral Princess. We have never been treated better and had so much joy on a trip. We would like to thank you so much for making our stay in your Country so blessed and enjoyable. Hope to see you all again. Thanks and God Bless.

Kris Benson, Dassel MN, 1/25/05

Hi - I just want everyone to know at the Coral Princess what a wonderful time I had last March (04). I'm trying to get down there again hopefully this March (05). It was my first major trip, I was nervous about going so far away and flying. When I got to Cozumel, I was still a bit nervouse, but as soon as I stepped foot in the Coral Princess Lobby my anxiety lifted and found myself being taken care of by everyone!!! I loved it so much!!!!!! I can't wait to get back!!!! I love your happy hours you have daily when the horn blows, and of course the Fiesta, which I got chosen to dance w/ the guys on stage!!!! Can't wait to come back, hopefully see you all again soon!!!!!!!!

I think that the Coral Princess is one of the best places that I have ever been to. When I went to Disney World it wasn't as fun as Cozumel and the Coral Princess. The staff there are really nice and treat you very well. The snorkeling there is great and the diving is too. I am 13 years old and I have been going to the Coral Princess for 5 years and I think that our family will keep going back. One of the things I really like are the animals or rose petals that they put on the beds after the maids make them . They treat you like royalty. Every year we come up with new friends and still stay in touch with all of them. We are going back in a few months and we are meeting up with friends from last year. When you enter the sliding doors to Coral Princess you are greeted by Pedro,Jamie(Jimmy) and other bell men that work there. Some people who work around the pool are George,Angel Simon, Isidro and Lorenzo (Just to name a few). No matter what room you are in you have a great veiw of the ocean or the jungle. Keep your eyes out for iguanas because they have a lot of them on the coral above land. You can feed the fish with the extra bread you have left and you can see all the colorful fish!! I think that the Coral Princess is your choice.
