SCUBA DIVING FOR HOPE
Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Cozumel, Mexico, and create a deeper connection with the ocean by volunteering at the most exciting projects in the region.
Travel, dive and help! Our reefs need help, they have been severely damaged by irresponsible tourist activity and the increase in cruise ships. We call on people like you, who love to dive, who love to travel, and who know that NOW is the time to act. There may not be many opportunities.
We offer a one week experience, with the itinerary already planned, from December 2 to 9, 2023. Includes the PADI Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course, a conservation dive on the coastal seabed and algae cleaning, two recreational dives, a Snorkel tour, an entrance to Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, transportation to the places of the activities (roundtrip) and accommodation at Coral Princess Hotel & Dive Resort with taxes and fees included (f&b consumptions are not included).

Accommodations
Coral Princess Hotel & Dive Resort offers two types of rooms: Superior Jungle Adventure (jungle view) and Deluxe Oceanfront (facing the sea).
You must select the type of room and the number of people who will register as participants in the Scuba Diving for Hope event. The maximum occupancy per room is two people. ** In the event that two people stay in the same room but one is only accompanying a participant, you must select the 1 person option.
The package price includes accommodation for 7 nights, taxes, Resort Fees and D.S.A. (Eco Fees). **Consumptions are not included.

Welcome to the Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration Program, led by renowned marine biologist Dr. Germán Mendez. What not to bring?
• Cannabis
• CBD products will be confiscated at the airport upon arrival
• Products that contain Oxybenzone and Octinoxate, which are found in over 75% of all chemical-based sun creams. These chemicals not only have a huge impact on coral reefs, but they also have a huge impact on your skin.

Day 1
Arrive any time. Check-in between 3 pm and 10 pm. Let's meet & greet! Time TBD.
Day 2
Recreational morning dive with Pepe Scuba Dive Shop. Includes two 80 cf tanks per person, equipment, pick-ups and drop-offs at the hotel's dock, and fast-boat transportation. All diving takes place inside Cozumel’s National Marine Park (included). Free time in the afternoon. Possible date for the night dive.
Day 3 & 4
Learn about conservation diving with the Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration. This is a two-day Coral Reef Conservation Specialty PADI Certificate (8 hours of education and 2 dives, each day). This course helps you to understand the complexity of corals and help conserve these vital systems. After this course you will be able to volunteer anytime you want with Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration. Possible date for the night dive.
Day 5
Enjoy the day at the beach at Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, where you will visit the Colombia Lagoon, the famous Celarain lighthouse, the Navigation Museum, and Anemone Beach Club! Only the Entrance is included in your package, and the transportation from/to the hotel. Consumptions at the Park are not included.
Day 6
Gain more skills and more knowledge on the third day of conservation diving by performing coastal seabed cleanup and algae cleanup with the Conservation Research and Environmental Management, CIMAC. Includes a fast course on seabed and algae conservation, two 2-tank dives, and equipment. The transportation from/to the hotel is included.
Day 7
Let 's go to El Cielo!! Grab your fashionable swimsuits and hitch a ride aboard the Bavarian Fiesta boat tour. Snorkeling sites TBD due to weather conditions. Fruit, snacks, ceviche, margaritas, German beer and wine, and tons of fun are included.
